AJ vs Shane was shoot the first Wrestlemania match I ever saw (started watching wrestling in 2017 in college) and it was absolutely great. I’m still blown away by that one coast to coast. I understand why Jericho was mad he didnt open but this was the superior match by far.

i still say they should have done Bret vs Owen in a ladder match at Wrestlemania 11. would've saved that whole show instead of wasting both of them in forgettable matches that year.
could've easily put the IC title on Owen to have him defend it there. then have Neidhart or someone interfere if you don't want to put the IC belt back on Bret, but then you have owen beating bret 2 years in a row.
IDK, bret said he wanted to do a ladder match with owen, i think that would've been the right time to do it

i think the finish was kinda flat but it kind of made sense because it was booked to be a fluke win for owen and a big finish would have eaten up the heat of the championship matches afterwards
