>>16589090The Undertaker is the child of a satanic cult leader who grew up in a funeral home and initially took on the job role. He was brainwashed by his mentor and manager, to feel no pain and believe he could commune with demonic entities, which initially presented as appearing almost zombie like when he was a young man, but as he achieved more it became clear that HE had the demonic power and not his manager with an urn. This led to tensions among the pair ultimately leading to the betrayal of the Undertaker and the reveal of his thought dead brother, Kane.
Now directionless, this set him off down a path of aspiring to be the Satanic cult leader himself and recruiting weak willed wrestlers to join him. Ultimately he was a man recreating the only thing he knew and enjoying power for the first time.
This culminated in a dramatic event where he was exorcised by his brother and he started to find his own personality which was stolen from him in his developmental years. This couldn't last however as the call of the demonic cult was too strong, leading to him returning to his former ways but with a stronger and more human attitude. He'd reached a point of self actualization, he was drawing strength from his past but was no longer bound by it, using the meeting of two worlds to gain one of the greatest streaks in his industry.
The Undertaker is a trauma victim who was caged by his childhood into becoming what they wanted him to be. Sometimes he tried to go even further towards the demons and sometimes he tried to run away from them, but his story is one of learning to take strength and power from your past while not letting it define who you are
