Kid can't talk, and he lost his "cool" aura the moment he tried.
All they needed to do was have him challenge Joe, get rekt (which they did), and then actually have him grow from that. Have him admit he was cocky and over his head, and he needed to learn before playing with veterans. But they just immediately shoved him into Jericho Vortex, and now he's in the Christian vortex.
His vignettes with Joe were great because Joe could be the straight man and do more of the talking. Joe never brought up the "hey you were a killer for like five seconds when you faced me" so there was no potential for actual growth. Having him face 2 guys or having him wrestle the same "I suplex u" match is boring when he looks smaller than older men. His "I'm a zoomer" gimmick makes him look like a fucking idiot with that beanie; he's not from the street. He's a lacrosse kid, and there's no whiter sport than that besides pickleball.
His vignettes leading up to his debut and his world championship challenge were dope because he didn't talk, looked badass, and was different. He's been static since, and static is boring, especially when you can't talk.
