WWE didn't announce it as a $500 million a year deal with Netflix. They announced it as a $5 Billion 10 year deal.
Do you really think if AEW got a 3 year $555 million deal they wouldn't announce it that way? You don't think Meltzer, who spins everything to make AEW look as great as they possibly can wouldn't announce it as a $555 Million deal?
AEW got a $185 Million 3 year deal, with an option for a 4th year at an increase. It is a big increase, they got roughly a 30% raise, and the extra exposure being on Max and reruns on TruTV.
Tony also immediately bought Elton John's song again, plus another expensive song for Dynamite, so he is clearly still not trying to make any money back.
