>>16620529You’ve kinda nailed it there, he has the right cadence and knows when to pause for a pop (or at least he did) so it almost doesn’t matter (kek) what he says, you just watch him do it and think “well he must have won, because he’s acting like he did”.
LA Knight is really good at emulating that style but I at least think he’s doing it with some self awareness, I have a theory that he botches stuff on purpose because what he’s actually doing is a parody of the attitude era, he’s playing the character of a guy with no actual confidence in himself who blusters through with pre-baked zingers that don’t actually make any sense but he’s moved on before you can think too hard about it. I think his gimmick is that he’s a fake tough guy that just got done crying in the back before he comes out to cut a promo that everyone will pop for regardless and I’m convinced it’s him poking fun at Rock/Austin/HHH etc.
I may be overthinking this though.
