New Japan tours more around the country compared to Noah, a national promotion versus what is a regional. They also have more brand recognition, thanks to TV, and even mobile games.

New Japan is the closest thing to a WWE in Japan, the other promotions are Indies.

NOAH is a smaller company with way less promotion and smaller contracts and a less established name in the modern day. NJPW pays big money contracts, is on primetime variety shows, pays big money for ads on the number one train lines in Japan to cover every train completely in WK ads, pays for idols and celebrity guests, has foreign stars way more frequently, etc. NJPW still has good shit at times, but even if you think NOAH is the more enjoyable product, they have a huge disadvantage in the market.
