>>16649391>So? They're sports styled shows.NJPW is presented for what it is, which isn't an episodic tv show. They could do RoH or some WWE sideshow in that style, but it wouldn't work for the main shows.
>Not because of its presentationI'm not saying it's because of it's presentation, but it is presentes that way for a certain audience, and that presentation doesn't work for the size of audience WWE or AEW have.
>NJPW does it when it's necessary just as well. They do it at a far more limited rate and in simpler ways which suits their presentation, so they'll have something like brawling on the outside then the guys on the floor capturing Kidd's crew acting up and shit, WWE will have a group of guys in the ring, Heyman or whoever on the apron or outside, cuts to different angles on faces, reactions, cut to crowd when something really hits, etc. in a much more sophisticated way because that's what keeps a casual audiences attention, and it provides a little more nuance, whereas NJPW will have the inring promo after a match kind of simple and feel more 'sportslike' and unscripted, but that works for an audience once a show at the end, like in sports, whereas AEW and WWE rely on shitloads of promos and shooting them in different ways for slight degrees of variation, etc. Although one thing I didn't mention is NJPW shoots to protect guys size way better, they look bigger in NJPW due to angles etc. whereas WWE and AEW can't do that.
