It's fallen on hard times but I personally prefer its format over anything being done in the US.
That's not for everyone. It'll never be more popular than WWE in America. That's alright. I just like watching matches with lowkey sports-related stories and no advertisements. I don't need people coming out cutting 20 minute promos and intricate swerves or any of that.
Which isn't to knock WWE. I'm glad most people like it. Just never really did it for me because I'm autistic like that.

I'll never understand the Western smarks that actively hate on NJPW. It's on the other side of the world, it doesn't poach Western talent, and it isn't a threat in the slightest.

If you were a diehard NOAH or AJPW fan and you hated NJPW, then I would at least understand your mentality. I don't like NJPW on occassion because they bully and neglect other Japanese feds at every opportunity.

WWE/TNA/AEW fans that hate NJPW are just pissing in the wind. It's like you're butthurt that some people simply don't care about your favorite fed.

I was getting tapes from Japan and watching ECW during the attitude era. If anything WWE doing well draws more fans to the idea of wrestling and helps all promotions.
