I think I get what the issue was. They didn't want to give us a free PPV like event despite this being one of the few times they should have. Everything felt grandiose as a big PPV would feel like but was ultimately shallow and empty. Last night felt like a shittier In Your House PPV and combined with the excessive commercials and ADs in the ring, it feels like WWE is turning into the Activision of wrestling where they need to tone it the fuck down.

Please no console war shit. I watch WWE all the time and was hyped for this but it was underwhelming and I think the reasons are corporate over reach which will only get worse.
