With how much TV time they have, how many writers they have, etc. there's no excuse for not explaining any of this. "Storylines" get dragged out for months or years. Yet nothing really happens. And what little does happen doesn't make sense.
Instead of Reigns & Friends hashing anything out, they just shake more coconuts out of the NXTree and have them feud with each other while fans pretend to be able to tell them apart and remember who hates whom at the moment.
Instead of anybody having any rebuttal for Kevin Owens, or concessions, or conflicts, they just make him start doing bad things until fans hopefully forget he was right to be mad. The writers just couldn't be bothered to present a plausible scenario where Sami or Jey or Cody need to begrudgingly help Reigns.
