It's hilarious. The anti-AEW people focused so hard on ratings to "get back at how insufferable AEW fans were" YEARS ago, but didn't have the foresight to think that this would lead to a bad-faith environment where no one "really cares" about whether the facts are right or not. It's just about spamming something, mining salt, then downplaying/discrediting the other side doing the same, and dunking on them in the process.
Mark my words, every week, we're gonna get a Samba report from AEW fans, and even though it's nowhere near conclusive evidence, the environment that was built will guarantee it will never die.
