>>16687856Zoomers will never understand just how mainstream pro wrestling was in the Golden Era of the mid to late 80s, and the Attitude Era of the late 90s to early 00s. Everybody knew who the top stars were, they appeared all over TV, doing talk shows and the like, merch was everywhere.
Pro wrestling is more niche today than it has ever been in its entire history. There's still a fanbase willing to go to shows, but that doesn't make pro wrestling mainstream. Again, I don't think it's even possible for zoomers to understand. They just aren't bright enough and the world is too different now.
