Everyone complains about modern wrestling and complains that the art of old school has been lost, yet joshi very much still embraces that. Sound psychology, less flippy shit, etc.
It's a big part of why I promote it around here. Sure, there are vocal haters who will never give it the time of day. It's seriously their loss. I've also encountered people who were about to give up on pro-wrestling entirely until they actually watched a good joshi match, after which they said they'd give Stardom/TJPW a shot.
As wrestling fans, we've got to enjoy what's good now.
