The thing I love about Toga is her attitude, she always smiles to herself as if she's enjoying the absurdity of the moment, but yet on a dime can become stoic and serious and menacing. She doesn't seem to want to hog the spotlight and comes across as insular but equally willing to go out there and wreck a bitch cause its her job. I bet she has a secret girly side too.

https://sportiva.shueisha.co.jp/clm/othersports/fight/2025/01/10/post_6/ >What is Aja's biggest motivation right now? >Aja: "I want to spread the word that professional wrestling is such an exciting and entertaining thing. Netflix's The Queen of Villains is now streaming worldwide, and it has drawn attention to professional wrestling. People often ask me about those days, but I want to convey, 'It was exciting back then, but it's just as exciting now.' I believe I'm in a unique position to share this because I'm still actively competing in the ring, and I can tell everyone, 'There are so many new and amazing wrestlers coming up right now.' >On top of that, there are these adorable young wrestlers who make you wonder why they chose the path of pro wrestling. They work so hard, endure pain, and put on incredible matches. I want the world to know, 'There are such amazing talents out there.' My biggest motivation might be to use myself and my platform to help these wrestlers step into the spotlight and show the world how extraordinary they are." >-How does women's professional wrestling today differ from the past? >Aja: "There's no real difference. It might sound strange to say 'none,' but I often appear in TJPW, and after six or seven years with them, I’ve come to think, 'These young wrestlers aren’t so different from the ones in AJW during my early days.' >-It’s surprising to hear that the vibrant TJPW and the intense AJW days share some similarities! >Aja: "Of course, in AJW, there was a strict senior-junior hierarchy. But when I think back to when we first joined, or when I hear stories from the seniors, it seems that wrestlers who were close in age actually got along quite well. >I recently watched Shabekuri 007, and I noticed how much Asuka could say to Jaguar. There’s about a three-year age gap between them, but their relationship reflects the kind of bond we felt among rookies back in the day." Anonymous
>>16699744 >-Asuka was teasing Jaguar, wasn’t she? >Aja: "Yes, it felt like back then they were more like 'companions sharing their youth together.' I sense a similar vibe in TJPW. Outside the ring, everyone gets along well, but once they step into the ring, they’re driven by feelings like 'I don’t want to lose to her' or 'I want to surpass her.' >Still, they all share the same goal: 'We want to make TJPW even bigger.' I think that’s similar to how we felt in AJW, where we were determined to show the world just how incredible women’s professional wrestling could be. When I see young wrestlers hugging their knees and crying after losing to a peer, it makes me nostalgic, reminding me of how many moments like that we had in AJW. >Of course, I don’t think TJPW is consciously aiming for anything like AJW. In fact, I think they’re striving for the 'complete opposite' of it. But sometimes, when you aim for the opposite, you end up coming full circle, back to the same place—that’s how I see it." >It’s heartwarming to see how close you are with TJPW’s Raku. At first, I thought you might dislike someone with Raku’s gentle, easygoing personality, but in matches, you even performed her signature move, the “Goodnight Express,” together, which was a relief to see. >Aja: "When I first teamed up with Raku-chan, I saw comments on social media saying things like, 'Raku-chan teaming with Aja-sama... there’s no way, right?' I was curious and wondered, 'What does that mean?' Then I realized they were saying, 'There’s no way they’ll do the Goodnight Express together, right?' At the time, I didn’t even know what the Goodnight Express was, but I figured the audience must be looking forward to something if it was causing such a stir." Anonymous
>>16699762 >-What were your initial impressions when you first saw Raku? >Aja: "Hmm... she seemed like a sweet and adorable girl. My main thought was, 'Just don’t get injured, okay?' When she told me during a match, 'Let’s do that (the Goodnight Express),' I didn’t know how to do it. After watching it once, I thought, 'Yeah, this definitely isn’t the kind of move people would expect me to do...' But I also noticed how much the audience was looking forward to it..." >-It seems like many TJPW fans exclusively follow TJPW. >Aja: "Yes, that’s true. I also get the sense that fans who’ve drifted to TJPW from other promotions often do so because they don’t like the tense, 'Hey, you!' post-match confrontations that can happen elsewhere. They’re drawn to the happy, uplifting atmosphere of TJPW. I think that’s precisely what TJPW has been aiming for. >That said, there’s probably a dilemma among fans who want to see TJPW grow even bigger. They might feel, 'It should interact more with other promotions,' or, 'It needs more tension and rivalries.' >But it’s fine. TJPW should stick to doing things its own way. Even if it doesn’t grow significantly within Japan, it’s already spreading its reach globally. Japan has a unique situation where the general public might be the least aware of internationally famous Japanese wrestlers. For example, ASUKA, IYO SKY, and Kairi are all huge stars abroad. They’d get recognized immediately if they walked down the street overseas, but that’s probably a rare occurrence in Japan. >That’s why I want to tell TJPW fans, 'Don’t worry, they’re already famous worldwide.' In fact, in places where baseball isn’t as popular, like parts of Europe, those wrestlers might be more famous than Shohei Ohtani!" Anonymous

/tjpw/'s peak was either when Neo was making OC or that guy was flipping out about soiface Rika so edits kept being made to annoy him. Once Rika -O? posting went away so did the soul. Most of what's posted now is the newer girls and Kamiyu xeeting her menhera woman moments which makes me believe most of the posters in here now are just newfags from xitter who only started watching TJPW in the last year or two and never go back to watch anything before that. Ignoring the schizos/attention whores who fixate on certain specific players and just spam them endlessly.
