The only reason WWE is hot right now is because of the money Tony pumped into the industry. The best thing about WWE's main roster is that everyone has a purpose and are featured regularly. It's not like it was pre 2020 when you had a bunch of disgruntled people sitting in catering. Most of them have also been with the company for a long time now so the talent have a stronger connection with the fans.
AEW fucked their continuity up by taking guys like Wardlow and Sammy who over and billed as future stars off of TV. AEW's downward spiral began after he bought ROH. They stopped featuring the people who were actually over and put shitters like Dalton Castle and Shane Taylor on TV. Guys like Bryan Pillman Jr. and Ethan Page should not be in NXT right now. They were actually doing well in 2021 before Tony stopped featuring them. Miro was one of the better midcard champions they had but he's gone AWOL for no reason.
