Because great storylines make moments and stars and storytelling is AEW’s biggest weaknesses. Tony does not and will probably never figure out how to write or book really good or memorable stories. He thinks wrestling is like the fucking circus and as long as you show the audience an exciting acrobatics routine and few hokey, completely cooperative looking spots that are unrealistic you’re putting on a good wrestling show.

The stories in AEW suck so bad. Small and/or unambitious let alone don’t make sense. None of the wrestlers’ characters feel larger than life or special.

That 2.6m that Raw did was for live AND same day viewers in the US. Go back and re-read the release. Like I said very carefully curated. That's everyone who watched it after it had already aired in addition to the live viewers. So there's a very real chance the 664k that was reported as the number of people who watched it live from 8-11pm in the US could be true
