Hangman told Daniels that he doesn't want anything to do with the Elite. Daniels tried to extend an olive branch a few times to Hangman but it didn't work. Daniels was an EVP and Tony's right hand man in storyline and got involved when Hangman was attacking referees and announcers. Daniels then tried to extend another olive branch to Hangman in the form of backup for his 4 way match at Worlds End which wasn't taken up on. Hangman then continued to attack guys after the bell and now Daniels, no longer an EVP or Tony's right hand man, has decided to make it personal. This match is the blow off to a simmering feud that never really left second gear, and I'm glad it's happening on Collision because I genuinely thought for a while there that they had planned this for Revolution.
