Not that I think that AEW deserved that many last year, but I do think that WWE is fairly assessed while AEW is vastly overrated.

This is completely true though. If Dave was biased then why did AEW matches win most of the PWI Sports Illustrated Awards as well? Dave doesn't run those. WWE is either a retirement home for wrestlers who want to take it easy or it is a stepping stone for young guys and whores who have delusions of eventually becoming Hollywood stars.

Can't lie AEW has better in ring than WWE. No clue as to why after Vince left they kept the same underwater wrestling style that kills the crowd but AEW also has problems with no selling moves and too many "Hero/adrenaline" spots that hurt the match after its used by everyone on the card

I think he is saying the opposite. There are too many rest holds in WWE and even after Vince they continue to do it. Probably because the wrestlers also do house shows so they are wrestling 4ish times a week year round.

I haven't watched AEW in years. I think I stopped around the time Jericho and MJF were feuding. I mostly watched because my coworker would watch and it gave us something to talk about, but after he left I got out of the habit of watching wrestling.

For the most part they are, same as AEW matches. It's all overly choreographed slop with poor psychology, no selling, and finisher spam. Every match has the same moves. Every match follows the same formula. Everyone wrestles the same. Yeah okay, there are exceptions, but they're rare. Meanwhile, Dave is treating Ospreay like he's the best wrestler of all time when he's just an athletic guy that doesn't understand anything aside from performing spots and getting his shit in. And as a reminder, Dave never awarded Kurt Angle a single 5 star match, despite Angle being 10x the wrestler that Ospreay is. Dave is a fraud.
