Guaranteed contracts are an absolute disaster for pro wrestling. It means wrestlers don't have any skin in the game and they can phone it in, be lazy, and do an all around terrible job because their pay isn't based on how well they do.
Why bust your ass to put on an amazing performance when you'll get paid just as much to put on a bad one?
Wrestlers on guaranteed contracts are under no pressure whatsoever to give people what they want or hone their skills. They're consigned to mediocrity because they have no incentive to rise to greatness. Wrestlers should only get paid a percentage of the gate and a bonus if their segment pops a rating. And they should be penalized if their segment loses viewers. The rule should be "draw or die". Survival of the dimesest. If the fat shitters in this webm got paid based on their drawing power I guarantee they'd instantly lose weight, stop acting gay, and learn how to be better pro wrestlers. But they don't do any of that because they don't need to thanks to the cancer that is guaranteed money. And that's the fucking bottom line.
