I'm a mark for spook and clowns. The problem with was they never went full in the self-parody of WWE and almost always ran the segment longer than it should on the show and then it didn't really end up in any good matches either because the booker (Vince) didn't figure out how to book a different match with "normal" Bray and Fiend. Nor was either version very good in matches.
Can you imagine if they put someone like Buddy Matthews with Bray at the time so he could have done the work in the ring while Bray brought the quirk and personality? Sheeesh. Instead Buddy was teamed with Seth because one of the greatest workers needs a great worker with him, that made sense in Vinces head at the time.
