The debut episode was an introduction to newer fans. This was a workrate episode. Birb/Dacutie Stardom tier hard fought match. Priest and Finn putting on a classic. It was amazing.

Yeah but if I hadn't seen wrestling before, this was the episode that would've got me to keep watching. It was paced perfectly, and a good mix of promos and backstage and matches. Last week just felt off.

it's funny. they felt they were going "all out" on that first episode of raw to make it feel special, but it would have put off so many new viewers because it was boring and watered down as fuck so they wouldn't have watched today's show.
