>>16782432Yeah, the day-to-day shows aren't really meant for regular viewing like, say, Raw or Smackdown or Dynamite. They're just house shows for the company to make some money while showing off its workers and giving them a chance to work (I think people underestimate how much working together constantly in multi-person matches is the real secret sauce behind why Japanese matches tend to be good). Background stuff for while you're in the mood and doing something else really.
Like you said, fun stuff.
But I mainly watch for the big shows, and there I'm shocked if there aren't at least a couple really good matches. People underestimate how good Stardom's roster is and it's always hilarious to me when, say, someone like Hazuki shows up on US soil and blows everyone away. It's like, yeah dude, we knew already.
