This, wrestlers are getting less and less experience. Pretty soon it's just going to be wrestlers in their 60s who have any sort of decent in ring experience.
Probably the most glaring example is Adam Page is like a 15 year "veteran" and he's had less than 600 matches. Doesn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch.

Hogan was top guy until the end of the 80s when everyone was sick of him and he fucked off by 93. Austin and Rock had a 5 year time window at the top before both fucked off. John Cena is the big outlier since he debuted in 2002 and has stuck around in some way shape or form since. They didn't even start to push another top guy until a decade ago with Romanetty and they still had cold feet with him for another 5 years

this has been an issue with the men’s roster specifically. no world champions or even main event level guys born in the 90s. all the guys at the top are 40 or about to be pushing it. they spent so much time building up roman they forgot to build anyone else up.
