As someone who was taking up to 6-8 20 mg oxycodone a day for years until recently, I can tell you that even if he didn't take them right before his matches, he was still feeling the effects and slight euphoria given how large he has claimed his dosages were in the past (taking literal handfuls of them)
He may not have been super fucked up in the ring but was most likely still riding the buzz all throughout which is why he continued to do all that crazy shit in TNA. You feel powerful when you're not in chronic pain

Not completely sober, that isn't what he said. He said he wasn't doing them while wrestling, meaning he wasn't popping them shortly before matches. Having watched almost every match he did in TNA "live" at the time, I'd say he's not lying at all. He 100% was drugging himself and drinking himself to near death outside the ring but never was he out of control in the ring that I can remember.

You weren't getting 6-8 20mg per day in the last 5-10 years or so in the USA at least. The doctor would prescribe you 30s, and you wouldn't be doing more than 3. You 100% bought pressed pills based on your posts.

Nigga I have degenerative disk disease and live in Texas. The doctors in Houston will give you anything you want, at least mine would. I would get 180 a month and the dose was 6 a day but I would take them all at once then that increased to 8 or so when my tolerance got higher

Your doctor again wouldn't prescribe 20s at that high a dose, it doesn't even make sense when 30s are an option.

I'm not sure how aware you are of this but many pain management doctors especially around here didn't follow those rules to the letter. I had a good doctor that would work with me. I will literally post a prescription bottle from the last few months to prove it but that seems extremely unnecessary. It might be like how you describe now seeing that Texas' medical board literally just rewrote how they hand out prescriptions in November and fucked it all up for me and I'm sure thousands of others which is why I recently decided to just stick to weed instead of going through the hassle of trying to find a new doctor
