When your wrestlers are already pissed at your promotion, especially at the talent relations department, the perfect solution is obviously to bar them from wrestling during the biggest week in wrestling, where they could earn more than they do all year, completely disregarding that AEW's whole schtick is supposed to be about letting wrestlers work the indies.

it was alright years ago when it was a few extra shows between the hall of fame and shit since fans were in the area already, but they do like 14 fucking shows these days. none of the matches matter or are good because each wrestler has three more bookings that day so in the end its just a marathon of faggotry. thanks for ruining things as usual gcw

I've honestly always felt one of the saddest thing indies do is try to catch stray fans the weekend of wrestlemania. That said AEW's young talent is extremely green and Tony booking them 16 times a year to look awful on television does not help them.

This isn't new though. AEW has always kept away from wherever WWE is holding Mania. At least they have the past year or two. To which I'll give them credit unlike every other promotion who would typically spend the year shitting on WWE and then flocking to whatever city Mania was in to piggyback off of their success
