I wanted to be but after the 8 months of tension the turn itself was so nothing. All they did was say mean words to a guy that wasn't there the week before and hasn't been since. They still haven't even actually done anything heelish. It's all fallen so flat

Majority of it was piped in until the crowds started doing it because it was expected like with Dom. They were straight up editing in those close up crowd reaction shots

This is where I'm at with it. Would've been a way better moment just to save Big E for a big return save or something and reunite them. Even if you wanted to do the split. Get the reunion moment first. May as well. And if Big E can't wrestle and he's still just out then why even involve him? It's just left Woods and Kofi feuding with a guy who doesn't exist essentially. All really poorly handled in my opinion. Just for Triple H to get to break up another team

I'd rather forgo the nostalgia pop in favor of knowing that face New Day is completely dead. Even if Big E doesn't return for another year, them disowning him at least means that we're spared from the same old new day shtick they've been doing for a decade. The New Day had to disown Big E to reassure to the fans that the heel turn mattered.

On one hand I totally get where you're coming from and agree. Yet on the other has it though? It feels like the same apathy that surrounded them is still entirely there only now they don't have the goodwill of the fans that kept them going and reaching the heights they did. If this was ever meant to be some vehicle to get Woods a world title it's failing miserably. If it wasn't then it's kinda fucked how much they shoved that in the guy's face kek
