>>16840334Trump was inducted before he ran in 2016 for president and the media turned him into public enemy #1 with the sexual assault allegations and everything else. On top of that, Trump has never been accused by the law of directly killing anyone, especially not a child
Snuka is a slightly better argument for what you're trying to say, but again he was inducted well before being arrested and charged for murder. Before that he was a suspect but was never charged, so that's how WWE could induct him without major controversy
Benoit will never be inducted, nor should he (speaking from a PR perspective, not a moralfag one). This isn't some OJ Simpson-type of situation where you can argue "well technically he was found not guilty in a court of law". The evidence is pretty clear that he was likely guilty, he was never acquitted in court, and no one other than a couple of wrestling conspiracy theorists believes that he didn't do it. You can't induct a guy who most of the general public believes killed his wife and child, the public backlash would be insane
WWE can never openly celebrate or highlight Benoit again. The only thing they've done wrong with their Benoit censorship is going overboard at times, like skipping his Royal Rumble win in compilations of every Royal Rumble winner
