First off, give it a build up instead of just a squash match against Bob backlund. Have him break the chicken wing hold during the match to establish him as a real contender.
Next, give him a manager. Nash's promos suck.
Give him some singles matches with people who can draw or big guys he can clash with. He only went against the undertaker and yokozuna in tag matches. Why not have him go against lex luger or ted dibiase, And he didn't have a tag match with anyone interesting . There are lots of matches against Shawn Michaels but he wasn't a draw, no matter how much historical revision is done. Hhh would have been better.
But there is only so much you can do with a charisma vacuum like nash.
