I'm not even a fan of Alexa, but what made her good was that she was able to talk, like really well, something that is very lacking in AEW, even for men, she can probably cut better promos than 80% of the male wrestlers.
AEW refuses to create storylines, they refuse to let wrestlers be presented through their strong points, they want to focus on wrestling so bad, that they forget that the match is supposed to be the blow-off after stuff (whatever that is) happens between wrestlers, it is not the rivalry itself, which is why it is so easy to forget AEW's actually good matches, because most of the time they have no setup, it's just something along the lines "I challenge you for a match" and the other party accepts and the match happens.
