After a certain point, it doesn't get heat, it just demoralizes the crowd. They never get to take the pictures/videos of the triumphant (or resurgent) face.
You wait months for AEW to come to your home area, you go to a show, your favorite has a match - and the last view you have of them is limping to the back while the heel's music plays
And it's like that over and over and over again, because all the 50+ year olds running AEW convince Tony that it's a GOOD thing

These are people, right here on /pw/, who care much more about console warring than they do professional wrestling
Anyone who really cares about wrestling doesn't spend hours every day bringing down the quality of the board, obsessing over typos or 2nd language speakers
You don't get to constantly shit up the board, then complain when others do the same.
