I only watch WWE sporadically but I think Jey winning is actually refreshing.
A lot of moments that people look back upon fondly didn't really "hit right" the moment you first saw them. But they were great in retrospect and I think Jey's win will be seen that way as well.

I think this could be kino if Jey actually makes an effort to improve his in-ring work between now and WrestleMania. He knows how limited and shit he is because he's acknowledged it before and I'd argue that he has slightly improved since WrestleMania 40. I have hope.

Gunther/Jey at Mania does nothing for me, same way Drew/Seth last year didn't but that was done because Punk got injured. I could see Gunther say he's not wasting his Mania wrestling Jey and challenging him to "cash in" his title shot before hand either on a random RAW or EC with Jey winning it then and Jey defending it in some sort of multi-person match at Mania.
