It's like the NXT as a producer was unrepresented.
>Lemme rant for ya! While having a someone like Trick, Oba, or Tavion Heights if you need some "for the culture" would work. Or having just someone else on the verge of being put on the main would be optimal for NXT and the "spirit of the Royal Rumble" in general:
I think for this year it would have been bit of a moot point to have someone like Oba Femi there even if he's the champ because he needs to be presented like he's gonna wipe the roster in 5 years while he still is green. That's Vince level of jumping the gun on him and recipe for disaster of him looking weak for not doing enough in RR - an actual "burial" for him and the NXT title
Trick was the only good choice from the roster because he ain't tied to any title in NXT right now and might get a pop, BUT he's bit like Jey in his skills if we are being really honest. Over as fuck but his matches are quite MID to just good without a good opponent who can call but you could tie it in to his current "I'm so mad at not being champ I make mistakes and lose" thing in NXT.
> I would have still booked Trick instead of Balor as his return from doing a stretcher job was way too soon and kinda wasted in the RR.>TL:DR what the real kicker is: I love NXT but RR '25 also had too much shit going on with the actual stars of the main that adding even more green to it wouldn't have been a good choice. Some of my older friends who actually watch wrestling again now that it's on Netflix complaints about current era is the lack of stars, they grew up with Austins and Rocks and the gap in style difference between Romans "Aura" and Attitude Era is a hurdle for them to get over. It hurts but to the real bookers choice was to put as many stars to get people watching the two mains.
