Daniel Bryan was over as fuck in 2014 but he is not even close as how good guys like Jericho, Angle or Benoit were.
Shota is not over because his gimmick and personality is bland as fuck, and because he is supposed to be the face of the company and he doesn't deliver in that aspect.
Jey on the other hand is over because the wwe crowd is retarded as fuck. But he is only over due to a catchphrase, no one in their right mind would pay to see him wrestle. He is probably the worst all around wrestler the WWE is pushing, only Damien Priest is close for how boring and bad in the ring he is. Jey can't cut a promo, the only thing he does well is play off a better performer (Sami Zayn) with reactions
