Jey has already been involved in major storylines so the live crowds recognize him. The arguments for Jey winning the rumble don't actually apply to LA Knight. Jey Uso had one of the worst "serious" matches in mania history against his brother, and that was more over than LA Knights storyline with Logan Paul that nobody really cared about. And it's Logan Paul, someone that people outside of the wrestling sphere actually know. Their match at Summerslam was fucking dead.
They gave Jey an opportunity with his involvement in the bloodline, and Jey did more with it than LA Knight did with the US title. It's like fucking Zack Ryder all over again, where the only people who actually want to see him are these random internet armchair bookers.
