Inability to meaningfully evolve his promos or character work. Brags about being a ratings draw and inciting bidding wars when neither is remotely true. Does the Scott Steiner thing of burying his own company and putting over the competition, but is not entertaining like Scott. In short, a complete inability to get a clue.
Also I saw him at an indie show about a year before AEW started and I, a 5'9 manlet, was about a foot taller than him (and 90% of the other wrestlers on the show).

No one has hype in AEW. I watched the first 10 mins yesterday to see who the debuting callis member was and Ospreay barely got a reaction and the dude with bitchtits that was his opponent got even less. The whole show is dead. They don't have a single super over talent anymore.

I can already see him joining the WWE in his mid to late 30s and nobody really caring, sort of like when Shane brought back The Franchise in Russo era WCW.

The people who clearly play characters never last. The face turn was awful, but even worse was him trying to pivot right back to being the "le epic heel" No character who clearly is just a persona will ever last. Everyone has the perfect example of it with Austin to see it. People fully bought the stone cold character, then he switched heel, which made it obvious that he's just another guy playing a part in the show and everyone stopped giving a shit

Jews can’t maintain aura. It always diminishes over time. I think it’s because they live in a gentile country. Maybe an Israeli wrestler in Israel could maintain dimes status. I'd honestly just blame the booking. Devil storyline changing due to injury was a fumble but couldn't be helped, but bringing it back up upon Cole's return was bad. Feuding with elders doesn't really do anything either. Think he still has it, but has gotten some awful booking

Instead of making basics like insulting the home sports team and making dirty jokes the starting point of his gimmick, he made it his whole gimmick. It has gotten old and predictable.

Then he ruined that by turning face and getting put in one of the worst feuds ever in The Devil.

AEW is also horrible at making babyfaces so there's no one good to counter him.
