Cody's storylines they have built up for a year now rely on him being face. He has tension with other faces, is a part of Sami, Jey and other storylines, has reason to be face vs. Punk for storyline reasons, face so Orton can turn on him, face to go top face vs. top face with Cena, face to work Rock if he ever mans up and becomes Final Boss again, Seth had his back last year so soemwhere down the line he has to return the favor, Fatu match, if Brock ever returns as face then he can play into that, and the list goes on. Turning heel just throws away tons of storylines and build. Cody has had great programs nonstop and great matches, the only complaint I would make is he is constantly sucked into the Bloodline drama over and over, but he is important to that and he often carries their matches and adds to the depth of the storyline and relationships.
