Sadly no. I used to fucking love these games. Didn't even bother getting last year's until it was like $20 at the end of the year because that's about as much fun as I know I'll get out of it. It's the same shit over and over with a few different yet no nearly different enough bells and whistles. Shit got so soulless beyond 2K20

modding as a whole in the wwe 2k community sucks because half of it is locked behind faggots deciding to put their tools behind paywalls and then not making good tutorials for people to actually use mods. The amount of effort it takes to bake and inject bullshit to have and old Edge model replace Wes Lee or whatever isnt really worth it imo. Sound Editor has worked flawlessly for years and is simple enough for any retard like me to use.

The Bloodline Showcase isn’t just “The Bloodline” you see on TV but the entire coconut family theater history, it’s why they added Afa and Sika and 3 Minute Warning, plus they’ll have matches with Yokozuna and Rikishi. Plus they haven’t even announced 1/3 of the roster yet, it’s looking like 400+ wrestlers counting unannounced DLC packs.

They did the redesign in 2k22. It will last them another few years without any changes.

The really funny, cynical cashgrab is their myfaction "persona" shit where edrones will spend a lot of money grinding out a few extra wrestler skins, in a game with 200 wrestlers and a CAW mode. FIFA and NBA 2K have similar modes but they're also the only way you can play sweaty competitive mode online, with these games they'll never fix the servers and they aren't balanced for that anyway

Since then they’ve added shit every year and refined the graphics, so it’ll probably be good in another 5 years. Also, it’s still a far sight better than any other wrestling game out there by a country mile.

I get that some of them probably are talented and work hard at it, but the smugness in the "2K Modding Scene" is bizarre to me when the only things they can mod are wrestlers and arenas, the game already has hundreds of those, and you can get a CAW version that's maybe 10%-25% worse without having to interact with those people at all
