All the people 'brought back' or drawn into wrestling around the 2011-2012 period were introduced to smark thinking via the internet and that spread, crowds outside of Montreal, Philly etc. got even smarkier, families mostly stopped going, either due to the product and who they were pushing, or because smarks ruined the shows, and it took until Cody came back to reverse the trend. By that time Vince had driven so many people away they were able to start fresh with families and normal people. Some suspect Vince planned it that way.
