everyone knows that HHH drags everything out for way longer than it should be. championship reigns that should last 2 months last half a year. feuds that should end after a short program go on until the next mania.
this is because he's scared to experiment with or build up new things, like younger wrestlers. everything needs to be safe and predictable in his booking, unlike vince who wasn't afraid to take risks or scrap something when it wasn't working.
this is why all the main event level guys are 40+ or damn near close to it. this is why there are no (men's) world champions born in the 90s yet. none of the young guys have been built up at all and probably won't get there til they're 35, and any that vince was building up like theory, HHH put on the backburner.
theory's a great worker, good promo and look too. i like both him and waller individually but the tag team is doing nothing for him. i honestly don't know how you salvage theory though, it would feel weird to throw him back into the singles upper midcard.
send him to japan for a while instead of NXT guys or omos, see what happens.
