>>17009484So the current maple leaf design was what Canada went with in 1965, prior to that, that's very similar to what their flag looked like. Though the crest is completely different. I presume that may have been due to a limitation when making the belt. The provincial flags for Ontario, and I believe Manitoba also resemble the old flag design. Though again, with different crests.
