Yeah I'm trying to think in terms of this. WWE had Punk and Drew and the Bloodline and Cody. AEW's top offers were Hangman/Swerve and Toni/Mariah. Personally I think I enjoyed the latter two more. But I get the perception of WWE right now is night and day compared to AEW

Have you actually watched NXT? The booking is hot garbage and rarely makes sense. They're dominating because of promotion and main roster crossover.

I'll regularly watch NXT and have no idea who people are, why the authority figure is booking matches, and who the heels are supposed to be. There was an angle last week where the heel authority figure booked a guy in to a title match because he was beat up by the champ.

RAW and Smackdown had a dozen meh shows, shit stop and go booking for Kross, Wyatt 6 ..., and PLE's with terrible matches sans a few that saved the entire show.
Meanwhile Shawn batted a near perfect season with 3 dud shows month a part of each other and the 3 best PLE's of the year.

Giving HHH credit just for the good stories and matches is unobjective.
