I honestly want to know the story behind this whole thing. Like did Knight push for this to try and show Trips that he could hang as a main eventer on the mic or something? When Miz did the whole crying thing he was clearly buying time to think up his response so it wasn't an on the rails kinda thing. They clearly decided to just shoot and Knight was completely unprepped to deal with someone who is known for being good on the mic like the Miz. I don't think that anyone in the back has a grudge against Knight and would push him into that segment, but what do I know. Just very odd that Trips would allow an upper midcarder to go out and expose himself that badly.
