>>17020065Hardly. Experienced indie wrestlers are going to know how to actually work more than anyone because their matches aren't agented. They're calling things with different people in different promotions in front of completely different types of crowds all the time. If they just have the same one canned match in their pocket then they're fucked and you're probably never going to hear of them. That's the experience homegrown PC-only names end up missing out on. Not to say they learn nothing, but you can't replicate that the same way there. That's why house shows are so important
As far as AEW goes in general it's a mixed bag. No one there is really told specifically how to work. Like WWE has the WWE style. Not an insult, just explaining the difference in the way they do things. We all know that. AEW doesn't have that set way that everyone has to adapt to. So you get a really cool melting pot of styles. As much as it can result in awesome matches it can result in some really, really shitty ones too where people just don't click or there's someone miles behind in terms of experiences. That Deonna and Madison Rayne one is a great example. God knows there's plenty to pick from
