It was NEVER promised to be a PPV. Everyone thinks it was because that's logical, but this AEW and Tony Khan we're dealing with. The quote about the challenges of traditional PPV is being taken totally different than it was meant. Meltzer and Keller both reported last year it wasn't a PPV. There is PLENTY to mock this joke of a company about, including this show, but it wasn't a PPV.

He had to know everyone was going to think PPV since it was on Saturday in stadium in a foreign country. He clearly thought he could something with it other than Collision or else it would have been advertised as such. They even put that graphic out saying it was airing at 8 PM before they realized TNT was airing the All Star game. imagine not knowing that was happening in his position. I legit believe the cocaine jokes at this point. I thought they were just jokes but honestly if you consider that Tony is snowman his behavior and booking make way more sense. Does anyone know where the coke rumors started?
