it came close to death but they limped along for long enough to get to 97 when the kino started. Diesel wasn't as bad as people say, whereas Shawn was worse than people remember. WCW wasn't that much better until mid 96. When talent started to cross pollinate on either show, things got a little more interesting, enough to keep WWF on life support until the Austin/Bret/Shawn stuff took off.

95 was a horrible year for WWE, but with that being said you could probably count on 2 hands the amount of WMs that were actually good. Most were a match or two card.

11 isn't that bad. Rather, it's not as bad as its reputation would exist. Razor/Jerrett isn't bad, Bret/Backlund is very good, Diesel/Shawn isn't bad outside the finish, and Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam is fun when you accept it's a celebrity match. Really, there are several, several worse Manias.
