sin cara 1 couldn't speak english and couldn't adjust to the WWE style, and had a serious attitude problem (as many mexican luchas do and are, he was uppity) he went back to mexico and rebranded as mistico, to embed himself in the CMLL vortex, which he is currently too deeply entrenched in to ever escape. but he is the biggest luchador in mexico.
sin cara 2 is the one that was there for longer, but he wasn't as good. after getting cut during i think covid, now he works the mexican indies.
