belts are fugly but that's actually a good thing. I know some of you will say cope, but the idea is to have something better to strive for. stepping stone belts give incentive to get yourself over, while nxt and main roster titles are ultimately what you should be aiming for.

I simply don't. Started with NXT a few years ago. Then I stopped watching Smackdown after Summerslam this year. I haven't put on Raw in a few weeks. I'll watch the ppvs but ffs there's so many hours of content with these shows where nothing happens

so they're gonna he drawing a hard line in the sand now with Indies. Pick your side, your either WWE affiliate or not. Which mesns no more AEW talent allowed to be booked there. WWE will defo try to co-opt DPW, Ricky Starks is the current Defy Wrestling Champion our in Seattle. But they are firmly AEW camp I think. Gonna be interesting to see what happens here. This is exactly what they did with the UK scene in 2017.

It did though because the issues that stemmed from it were showing long before covid and the pandemic hit. Plus there were a good handful of indies in the UK that kept running through the pandemic anyway. Speaking out didn't kill the UK indie scene either because majority of those same people who got called out during it are still in the scene anyway
