But Meltz gave their matches five stars, and a bunch of smarks to this day will say Cole put on great matches with Johnny, even though viewership kept declining. So some people must like them, or at least pretend to.
It's why most of AEW's fans got super excited when they got signed. They swore up and down that Vince was wrong about Cole. Same thing they did for Keith Lee, Black, Miro, etc.
