Nah it's because gimmicks and charisma still draw more than anything else in wrestling. AEW is the perfect example of that. Everyone else is just bland nobodies whose gimmick is "really good wrestler." Yet Toni and Harley are the only two people that anyone talks about from the show.

Probably the most over act in AEW, and funny enough, it's a wrestling newbie doing the "sports entertainment" stuff that trannies claim to hate. Weird how the only wrestlers who seem to get organically over in AEW are the ones who aren't forced and don't make their entire personaities about how great they are at wrestling.

The two best gimmicks in the entire business right now are, shockingly, both women. One is a woman that thinks she's a 1940's starlet actress. The other is a bimbo blonde with giant tits that does ventriloquism with a dummy to mock her opponent.

This feud shows everything what's wrong with AEW. Harley was an unknown talent, who is making minimum but trying everything to get over, with imagination and creativity all by herself vs Mone who is paid the max, brought in with the same tired gimmick and act. that was already played out in WWE but getting the push because of her high contract.
