This has been a thing for a while. NXT is nothing more than another brand alongside Raw and Smackdown and has been for a good while. It's funny how its fans want to celebrate it as some huge success and then also diminish it to 'just wrestling school' when convenient

I’m convinced that within a year they’re going to do another rebrand and try to make NXT a third brand again. They now have Evolve, LFG, and the ID program, how many different development systems do you need? They could just as easily take rookies out of those other development systems and have them working undercard and midcard matches between 3 brands.
